TOWN OF GEDDES SUMMER PLAYGROUND PROGRAM

The Town of Geddes Department of Parks and Recreation will operate a Summer Playground Program at locations throughout Westvale, Lakeland and Solvay. All playgrounds will be staffed with Geddes Parks and Recreation Department employees from Monday, July 1 to Friday, August 9, excluding Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5.  Hours of operation will be 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  We provide various activites, such as sports, games, crafts and bus trips for the children.  Our program is a “come and go” program.  Also, the locations may close due to inclement weather and some locations do not have bathroom facilities.

Lakeland Park (Located on Alhan Pkwy. and Shore Ave.)

Lindbergh Lawns (Longbranch – located at corner of Stinson St. & Bennett Ave.)

Cherry Road School (Located at the Maple Road side of the school)

Solvay Elementary School (Located on Woods Road – playground area)
