START SMART SPORTS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Start Smart Sports Development Program is a developmentally appropriate introductory sports program for children 4-7 years old, which prepares them for

organized sports, in a fun non-threatening environment.  It teaches them basic motor

skills while they work one-on-one and spend quality time with their parents.

A parent’s participation with child is necessary.  The sports of soccer and baseball/softball will be emphasized.  Age appropriate equipment from Franklin Sports® and Hasbro® is used in teaching throwing, catching, batting and kicking.  The Town’s equipment is for participants’ use only at the program location site and is not to be brought home.

Fee:  $30 residents, $35 nonresidents      Min: 6 children     Max: 18 children
