All grass clippings and leaf debris MUST BE in PAPER BAGS, CARDBOARD BOXES, barrels or a container NOT TO EXCEED 50 lbs. ABSOLUTELY NO PLASTIC BAGS! (Mulching is a better alternative) – there is a 50 lb limit for barrels and bags.

Tree Branches, brush and shrubs limited to 3 cubic yards at a time. (Back of pick-up truck) NO whole trees.

 

MONDAYS  –   Lakeland Area and Linbergh Lawns ONLY

All Other Areas will be picked up “ONE DAY AFTER” your regular garbage/trash day.

No more than 1 CUBIC YARD at one time (size of a washer or two barrels full), year round with weather permitting.

Garbage Pickup

If you are a Geddes resident and experiencing a sewer backup please call the Town Highway Department first to determine if it’s Town responsibility or homeowners responsibility. This is a service that the town provides to our residents at no cost.

Town of Geddes Highway Department Services are when homeowners are doing SMALL projects around their home. If homeowners have contractors working at residence, contractors are responsible for their own debris removal.


Bulk Item Pick-Up is limited to 1 big item or 2 small per pick-up.
BULK ITEMS are:

Desks/ Chairs/ couch
dresser/ love seat
or
Small Items (limit 2)
Lamps
Chairs
coffee and/or end tables
**No house clean-outs will be picked up**
