Pedestrian Bridge Improvement

Town of Geddes officials partnered with Assemblyman William B. Magnarelli for a project to widen the Pleasant Beach Pedestrian Bridge. This project widens the walkway over the bridge so that emergency vehicles, like Lakeside Fire Department’s Gator, can pass through in the event of emergencies. This project was made possible by (also pictured above) Geddes Supervisor Susan LaFex, Geddes Councilor Ed Weber, Assemblyman Magnarelli, Geddes Councilor Marcia Ferguson, Geddes Councilor Marty Kelley, Geddes Highway Superintendent Paul Trovato and Lakeside Fire District President Mark Kolakowski.
