Registration is available by three ways:
- In Person: during Office hours only – Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm
- Phone: call 487-8238 during Office hours (phone registration available for certain programs only)
- Mail: payment and registration form, if applicable, must be included
Payment: Cash, check or money orders are accepted, and must be included with registration form, if applicable, at the time of registration.
Registration Form: For some programs, it is necessary to complete a registration form, which needs to be submitted,along with payment, to the Recreation Department, in order for a participant to be registered. These forms are available online, in the AbouTown newspaper, the Recreation Department Office, and also in the various School Offices.
Refunds: There will be no refunds given once a program has been given. Refunds will be given if a program is canceled.
Cancellations: If school is canceled or closes early due to inclement weather or other reasons, programs will be canceled for the day. Also, if a program does not have the required number of participants, the Town has the right to cancel any program.
Registration Deadlines: Pre-registration is necessary for the majority of programs. Space is limited on all programs, and is available on a first come, first serve basis. The Town starts accepting registration for programs once the AbouTown has been made available to the public, and also when the fliers have been delivered to the School Offices. A program may be cancelled due to lack of registration, so it is suggested to register as soon as possible.
