Summer Playground Program

The Town of Geddes Department of Parks and Recreation will operate a Summer Playground Program at locations in Lakeland, Solvay and Westvale.  All playgrounds will be staffed with Geddes Parks and Recreation staff.

**Please keep in mind the program is where the children can come and go as they want – it is  not a daycare or babysitting service.  The playgrounds close due to rain and inclement weather.  Most locations also do not have bathroom facilities.

There is no charge for the program, but there is a cost for bus trips and some additional activities setup on the particular playground.  There is no preregistration, but children must register at the playground when they arrive.

Dates: Monday through Friday, July 2 to August 10 - exc. July 4th  (Monday through Friday only)
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Locations: 
          Solvay Elementary (Located on Woods Road, Solvay)   
          Lakeland Park (Located on Alhan Pkwy. and Shore Ave., Lakeland)
          Lindbergh Lawns (located at corner of Stinson St. & Bennett Ave., Longbranch)
          Walberta Park School (Located on Walberta Road, Westvale)
